We are a group of families whose loved ones have been murdered by the authoritarian Islamic Republic for the crime of dissension in the past forty-three years. We lost our loved ones on the way to fight against tyranny, while in the last four decades we have not found any fair and impartial authority or tribunal to hear us implore for justice. Now, after forty-three years of the “child-killing” regime of the Islamic Republic, we have come together to put all our power, possibility, and credibility at the service of the victory of the democratic revolution of the Iranian people. We know that we can demand justice for our loved ones in a fair court when the Islamic Republic is toppled and its leaders are summoned before the court as criminals. We, the grieving families, not only demand justice in Iran for our dead loved ones, but we also want that the blood of martyrs becomes the seeds of Iran’s freedom and the will of the nation for the realization of freedom, democracy, and respect for human rights comes true. If you look at our names, you see a map of the history of the massacres of the Islamic Republic from the first day until today, from 1979 to 2022. For years, we have been demanding justice for the unjust massacres of our loved ones, and we will continue to do so. Now that the people of Iran are fighting against the murderers with indescribable magnificence, we will stand by our compatriots as before. We pledge with all the brave fighters to continue their path, and regardless of different political ideas, we will ask governments, politicians, international institutions, the United Nations, parliaments, and public opinion of the world to resolutely support and recognize the democratic revolution of Iran. To achieve this goal, we extend our helping hand to all plaintiff families inside and outside Iran, patriotic and courageous Iranians, and the media around the world. We will use all our power and possibility to increase coordination and solidarity between different classes of Iranians so that the process of overthrowing the bloodthirsty and criminal regime of the Islamic Republic will be accelerated and facilitated, as we believe passing through this current difficult history-making phase depends on the effective presence, participation, and struggle of all Iranians inside and outside the country.
