Manouchehr Mohammadi is a political science graduate from American University and director of the Akbar Mohammadi Human Rights Foundation in America.
Manouchehr, an incoming student of 1372 solar year at Tehran State University; He is one of the founders of the secular political-student organization in 1373 solar for the first time after the cultural revolution in Iran called Student Organization of Intellectuals of Iran and also one of the founders of the National Union of Secular Students and Graduates of Iran in 1377 solar.
Manouchehr is also one of the founders of the first human rights student organization after the Cultural Revolution in 1376, called the Student Defense Committee of Political Prisoners, which led to the leadership of the great student-union movement in Tehran University, followed by the leadership of that movement by Akbar Mohammadi in Beheshti University (former National University) to create a union-student council, which finally led to the victory and legalization of that union council in all Iranian universities in 1377.
Manouchehr is the accused in the first line of the big political-student protest movement called Koi Movement of Tehran University on July 18, 2008, and he was a political prisoner in Iran’s prisons, including Evin prison, for seven years and two months along with his brother Akbar Mohammadi. Manouchehr has spent 13 months and Akbar 25 months of the seven years and two months of their imprisonment in solitary cells with the most severe physical and mental tortures.
Manouchehr is also one of the founders of the student secular coalition front called United Student Front in 1376 solar inside Iran and one of the early founders of the Democratic Front of Iran inside Iran and the current secretary of the Democratic Front of Iran abroad as well as the representative of the front inside and outside the border in the council Iran wants democracy.
Continuous arrests along with various mental and physical tortures of other members of Manouchehr’s family, including his parents, sister, and other brothers, were mental and psychological tortures that were imposed on Manouchehr and his family by the regime for many years.
After years of suppressing the opposition, Manouchehr and his brother Akbar Mohammadi again started a hunger strike in their prisons, including in Evin prison. Akbar Mohammadi was on hunger strike for the 13th time during his seven years and two months of imprisonment in Evin prison, under medieval tortures, with his hands and feet tied to the bed, and with all the resistance, suspiciously. The murder happened.
Akbar Mohammadi cooperated with Manouchehr in all the above activities and always played the first or second role until 2004, after enduring seven years and two months of imprisonment instead of being treated in Evin prison under medieval tortures. He was killed with his hands and feet tied to the hospital bed in a horrible and heinous way. The family members of martyr Akbar Mohammadi consider the perpetrators of this murder in the order of 1- the psychological leader Khamenei, 2- the president at the time of Ahmadinejad, the perpetrator of the holocaust denial, 3- Mohseni Ajei, the minister of information at the time of Ahmadinejad, and all of them are waiting for a fair trial of these victims. They are after the liberation of Iran.
