Yousef Ghanbarzadegan (December 7, 1998 – November 21, 2022) was one of the martyrs of the Woman-Life-Freedom movement who took to the streets for his people’s freedom and sacrificed his life. A 24-year-old man from Shiraz with big dreams and a bright future lost his life simply for standing by his people.

Yousef was an artist, a family-loving individual, and a skilled dental technician who was about to start his own lab, but the oppressive Iranian regime crushed his dreams in blood. After participating in nationwide protests, he was pursued by security forces and killed under suspicious circumstances along with his two friends, Mahan Sargavan and Mohammadreza Nasrollahi. The regime attempted to disguise their murder as an accident.

Yousef fought for freedom and paid a heavy price—let us remember his name and continue his path.
